Shooting on Bourbon Street,New Orleans Leaves 'Multiple Victims': Police.
Police in New Orleans said early Sunday they are investigating a shooting in the heart of French Quarter with "multiple victims involved."
The city's police department said the shooting happened at around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Bourbon Street and Iberville Street — one block from the busy Canal Street.
One man died of his injuries but it isn't known how many others were involved, local NBC station WDSU reported.
No other information was immediately available.
"Initial reports show multiple victims involved," the police department said on Twitter.
